
SOMAPATCHTM MM Series Motorized Micromanipulators are specifically designed for patch clamping, intracellular recordings and microinjection.
The building blocks used for these micromanipulators are based on time proven positioning technology originally developed for applications in laser optics research requiring the utmost in precision and long term stability.
Each micromanipulator has 3 axes of coarse and fine motion. Remote fine control is provided by 3 smooth-running quiet DC motorized drives. Each motorized drive is coupled with a fast action manual adjustment screw for coarse control. Each unit can be tilted and rotated for added versatility.
Each micromanipulator comes with a rotatable probe clamp with index stops mounted on the top surface. It can accommodate a 4 - 12 mm diameter rod. An array of 9 standard 1/4x20 tapped holes on the top surface allows easy mounting of custom probes and amplifier headstages.
SOMPATCH MM Series are compatible with SOMAPATCH Series patch clamp microscope workstations.
